Ferrite SDK Licence Terms
Ferrite is a commercial engine. You buy the SDK — prebuilt binaries plus templates — and build games with Schematic visual scripting or C#. The engine runtime is prebuilt and closed; no engine source changes hands.
What you may do
CitroenGames grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Ferrite SDK to develop games with Schematic and C#, and to distribute standalone packaged builds produced by the SDK's Package Project flow, subject to the agreement accompanying your purchase.
What you may not do
You may not copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, rent, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the SDK binaries or any part of the engine, except as expressly permitted by your purchase agreement. Engine C++ source code, headers, static libraries and debug symbols are not distributed and are not covered by this licence.
Who owns what
The Ferrite Engine, Ferrite Editor, Hub, CLI, Cooker, Launcher and runtime remain the exclusive property of CitroenGames. Games you build with the SDK — your content, scripts, levels and packages — are yours.
Third-party components
Components shipped under Licenses/ remain governed by their own licence notices, which are included with the SDK and shown in the editor's About dialog under Third-Party Notices.
As is
The SDK is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. In no event shall CitroenGames be liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from the use of the SDK.
